The CORE Concept

The CORE conference is one of the premier addiction and recovery conferences hosted by C4 Recovery Solutions for addiction professionals to advance their understanding of the principles behind abstinence-based recovery practices. The conference is structured as a forum to increase the collective understanding of the addiction recovery processes. The goal is to improve addiction treatment outcomes by better integrating abstinence-based practices and Twelve-Step principles into therapeutic initiatives.

Addiction Recovery-Oriented Education

Developed more than 75-years ago, the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous have withstood the test of time and science to emerge as a primary foundation for recovery from both alcoholism and drug addiction. Many addiction treatment conferences focus on science and practice but with an alarming and growing emphasis on drug replacement therapies. Recovery is increasingly playing a secondary role. While science and new clinical tools are important, they cannot replace the Twelve Steps as a key means of facilitating the personal growth that is necessary for a sustainable and long-term recovery.

The CORE conference highlights the critical importance of 12-Step processes and abstinence-based recovery and presents new options for productively integrating useful clinical tools into a larger recovery-oriented treatment culture.

Family-Friendly Destination

Turn your continuing education into family vacation. The Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort is a luxurious spa and golf beach resort overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A recently completed $85 million renovation ensures guests a destination experience unparalleled in Florida. Plenty of activities will keep adults and children of all ages entertained.

  • C4 conferences are a part of our company's yearly schedule. We feel that you create the best conferences and we make it priority to attend as many as we can each year.

  • Great conference! Learned a lot, great networking, wonderful hotel and conference center.

  • It was a pleasure to attend a conference that is not based on placing every client on drugs to get them off drugs and alcohol.

  • I feel that I learned a lot as a result of attending this conference and left feeling rejuvenated as a substance abuse/mental health practitioner!

  • More than anything, the CORE is inspiring for us clinicians to not give up on improving our outcomes. The entire vibe of the conference is motivating!
